Why is a strong brand important?

As a branding design agency, we know first hand how vital it is to make a good first impression. How do you do that? Through your brand. Branding affects how clients and prospects see you, a brand that’s crafted well and has relevance will ultimately achieve bigger and better things…

A brand is more than just a logo, it’s about how it makes your client and prospects alike feel through colour, photography, content, design and more.

What is branding?

Branding is often mistaken with logo identity. Branding is more than ‘just a logo’ its the meaning of your brand, the story behind the creation, and most importantly how you interact with your clients.

Effectively telling the story of your brand is extremely complex, which is exactly why we were created – to help brand recognise their potential and take a stronger grip on the sector in question.

Branding is pretty simple on the face of things, which is why it’s so complicated. The main factors or a brand are logo identity, storytelling, brand awareness, brand promises, and of course your clients. If you manage to nail all of these aspects you’ll have a brand that’s ready to conquer the world.

Why is branding so important?

Branding is often portrayed as what a logo looks like, yet branding is so much more than ‘just a logo’. Of course, a logo is a huge part of a brand, but as we go deeper into a company we find the true meaning of a brand.

We’ve worked with brands big and small but the one thing we always come across is a story. The story of a brand, the reason or inspiration behind why the company was created is the perfect place to start. Selling a product or service is the goal of every company, the approach taken to do so is what sets smart, successful brands apart.

How can I do better?

Maybe you’ve never thought about your brand in a deeper sense, or maybe your brand is outdated in this ever-changing, fast-paced world we live in. No matter your story we have some tips on how you can improve your brand.

Speak to your audience

Getting the thoughts of your ‘ideal customers’ is really important, understanding what they expect from your brand is pivotal. No two sectors are the same, meaning we all have a great deal of work and research to do to fully understand who your target audience is and what they expect.

Talk to your friends and family about ideas

Talking to close friends and family is a great way of generating fresh ideas, they will know your business, yet also have an outsiders view.

Brainstorm your ideas

Brainstorming is a quick and easy way of generating ideas. There is no wrong answer and behind each great brand is just one idea. Don’t be rushed into scrapping ideas off too soon, brainstorm everything that comes to mind about your business, take a few days to think and come back, you never know what gems you will find amongst the chaos.

Create a catchy tagline

It’s something all big brands have and it’s pivotal in creating a brand that will leave a lasting impression. Having a catchy tagline or slogan that your clients will associate with and remember in an instant is a pretty big deal.

Our greatest weakness lies in giving up. The most certain way to succeed is always to try just one more time.
