Where did it all start?
Hyphen Creative started in the back bedroom of a small terrace house in Derbyshire, England. For years we grafted through those four walls and over time, themselves, and the delightful team has built a well-established design agency followed by hundreds of happy clients.
Getting off the ground is something that is unbelievably challenging, but with countless late nights and thousands of cups of coffee, we have managed to make it work.
Where are we now?
Well, we have just moved into our new offices and we couldn’t be happier!
We are still based in the beautiful De Bradelei Mill, in the heart of Derbyshire, however, we have now expanded to an office space three times the size of the old, with stunning original design features and beautiful sash windows. It’s not just the size of the offices that have expanded either, we now have two more people on the Hyphen team, and we couldn’t be happier with the start they have made!
Our new offices give us the extra space we need while allowing us to grow at the same time. In the new year, we plan to expand our team further due to the amount of web design work we have been taking on over the closing months of 2017.
Our greatest weakness lies in giving up. The most certain way to succeed is always to try just one more time.
So what do we do?
We offer an extensive range of design and marketing services, from branding and stationery packs to website redevelopments and app design – whatever you need it’s more than likely we can help.
We even offer help for start-up businesses with discounts of up to 40% as we know how difficult it can be to get the ball rolling, and even with this huge discount we still provide the full bespoke design service on all design and marketing collateral, ensuring you stand out from the crowd!
Who have we worked with?
We have helped hundreds of businesses over a huge range of sectors with design and marketing work, most of which came through word of mouth. Not to mention our latest design project for a very big brand, Cultural Campus, consisting of The Quad, Derby Theatre, The University of Derby and more, we have helped them build a new brand and are currently developing a new website for them, with the aim to help less fortunate children find a platform into the arts – something of which we are very proud of.
Most recently we have been working for numerous clients in the manufacturing sector, helping them get off the ground with new and improved websites, guiding them with SEO and building strong, recognisable brands – all of which have their own success stories.
What does the future hold?
The future is bright and after a very successful 2018, we have bigger plans than ever. Building upon what we have we plan to expand our team further, mentoring new and existing talent in the Midlands.
